Where goods made in the United States meet the tightest controls, by market
It separates “this origin gets pulled a lot” from “this origin ships a lot”, which is the difference between a risk and a headline.

2 of 4 markets give the same answer: under-represented. The next most common, in 2: United States goods in: under-represented. There are only two answers in the whole table, so the split is the finding.
| # | Market | How the share compares to trade |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Australia | United States goods in: under-represented |
| 2 | Canada | under-represented |
| 3 | Italy | under-represented |
| 4 | United Kingdom | United States goods in: under-represented |
What would prove this wrong
Recomputing both shares — recalls from the OECD portal, imports from UN Comtrade over the same HS basket — moves the ratio across 0.67, changing the verdict.
Written before the table was published, not after. If you can show it, send it to hello@tryorbt.com and the correction goes on the record.
Where this comes from
- OECD: GlobalRecalls portal
- United Nations Statistics Division: UN Comtrade: annual merchandise trade by reporter, partner and HS chapter
Every row links to its own entry, which carries the evidence, the confidence and the date it was last checked. The method behind all of it is on how the index is made, and reuse terms are on the licence page. Take the table: from-us-corridor-controlled.csv — every row with its market code, its record and the source, so it can be checked after it has been pasted somewhere else.
