Ghana into the EU: 63% stopped at the border

Of the 100 EU food and feed notifications naming Ghana as the country of origin, 63% are border rejections rather than actions against goods already on sale, far above the 30% EU-wide average. The rejections concentrate in fats and oils and fish and fish products.

Exposure here is a consignment tested and refused at entry, which costs a shipment and a delay rather than a recall.
