Georgia into the EU: 86% stopped at the border

Of the 115 EU food and feed notifications naming Georgia as the country of origin, 86% are border rejections rather than actions against goods already on sale, far above the 30% EU-wide average. The rejections concentrate in nuts, nut products and seeds and fruits and vegetables.

Exposure here is a consignment tested and refused at entry, which costs a shipment and a delay rather than a recall.
