The category sells on ingredients it does not explain

29% of 42 beauty storefronts selling into the United States link any ingredient or formulation page from their homepage, against 81% linking a brand story page and 55% linking a rewards or referral programme.

Ingredient language is what this category competes on and almost none of it is one click from the front door, so the shopper who wants to know what is in the bottle is sent to a product page, a review site or a search engine, and whoever answers there takes the trust.

Internal homepage links matched for ingredient, INCI, formulation and the Korean 전성분 and 성분 정보, against the same read for brand story and rewards on the same pages, so the three figures share every limitation and can be compared to each other even where the absolute level is a floor. Front-door links only: a published ingredient glossary that nothing on the homepage points to is not counted, which is the honest reading of the claim, since the finding is about what the shop puts one click away rather than about what exists on the server. Retailers are excluded from both origin groups: OLIVE YOUNG Global, Peach & Lily, Soko Glam, Stylevana. Their catalogues are other companies’ product copy, so counting them by the storefront’s own origin would put Korean listings inside the US-origin group. Run commerce-20260805140548.
