Beauty product records carry no trade identifier
4 of 34 beauty storefronts selling into the United States publish a global trade identifier in their product structured data and 6 publish a manufacturer part number, while 88% publish a price in the same record.
Without an identifier a shopping surface has no way to know that the bottle on your site and the same bottle on a retailer’s site are one product, so a brand competes against its own resellers as though they were unrelated listings, and the listing with the better feed wins a comparison the brand did not know it was in.

The schema.org Product record on one product page per storefront, with the handle taken from the shop’s own catalogue feed rather than guessed. An identifier counts in any spelling schema.org accepts, so gtin, gtin8, gtin12, gtin13 and gtin14 all count. Two limits. It reads the page and not the merchant’s Google feed, so a brand supplying identifiers to a shopping channel directly, without putting them on its own page, reads as absent here. And a shop running more than one product template is measured on whichever product its feed returned first. Retailers are excluded from both origin groups: OLIVE YOUNG Global, Peach & Lily, Soko Glam, Stylevana. Their catalogues are other companies’ product copy, so counting them by the storefront’s own origin would put Korean listings inside the US-origin group. Run commerce-20260805140548.
