Brazil: the week starts on Sunday

In Brazil, the week is counted from Sunday, so a promotional calendar, a delivery window or a weekly sales report cut on the Monday-to-Sunday assumption is cut against the wrong week.

Anything scheduled weekly lands on the wrong days when the week is assumed rather than read.

This entry is wrong if

The current Unicode CLDR release, or Brazil’s own labour code, states a different weekend or a different first day of the week for this market.

Written before the record was published, not after. If you can show this, send it to hello@tryorbt.com and the correction goes on the record with the entry.
